Where did you get your name “Sweater Eyes”?

Once upon a time, at the tender age of fifteen, I was talking and writing at the same time. When I went to write down the song “Undone- the sweater song” I accidentally just wrote “Sweater Eyes”.  Alanah and I recognized the potential of this immediately, and so I started to use it for login names. Fast forward nine years and here I am, still using it.

So, “Sweater Eyes” doesn’t even mean anything?

Although I may have gotten this name out of carelessness, it is not completely meaningless. To me, the name has become somewhat of an idiom much the same way that “rose coloured glasses” are. Sweater Eyes are the filter that is unique to how I see the world and re-interpret it through my art.

What camera do you use?

My main digital camera is a Canon EOS XS.  I also occasionally use a broke I-Phone.

Absolutely! E-mail me and we can discuss pricing and details.  All custom orders will be process though my Etsy store.

Did you go to art school?

I studied at the University of Western Ontario from 2006-2010, and have received my Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Arts and Socio-cultural Anthropology.

Can I use your artwork or photography on my website/ blog/ facebook?

You may use my images on your site, but only if it is for non-commercial uses. Please credit them, and offer a link back to my site. I am not okay with any re-editing or re-distribution without my permission. If you are not sure that your usage will be okay, please please just e-mail me! I am not a scary person, and I only bite a little bit.

I sent you an e-mail, when will you get back to me?

I try to check my e-mail at least every other day (if not every day) and I usually respond right away. If you e-mailed me more than three days ago, and I still haven’t gotten back to you, I may not have gotten it so just send it again! I never ignore e-mails.
